Congrats to Martina for earning Singapore a quota place at the 2014 YOG. Her first placing at the Asian Championship (Asia YOG Qualifier) did not come easy. She and her coach were a nervous wreck at the competition. Luckily, she managed to compose herself and finished strong.
I have a troop of monkeys (coaches included) to nanny and these are their stories.

2014 NTU Shoot
It has been one competition after another. I guess it will only slow down after School Nationals in April. Hopefully, the monkeys can last the distance.
Here are photos of the pistol shooters in NTU Shoot.

Birthday Boy
The monkeys
wanted to surprise him but instead he outwitted them.
A big thank
you to Noris mum for the cakes.
Happy Birthday Nigel!
2014 NUS Shoot
Last week, the monkeys participated in the NUS
Invitational Shoot held at SAFRA Yishun. They competed in the school division
which had a total of 406 competitors. Despite having to compete with the older
and more experienced competitors, the rifle girls did very well.
10m Air Rifle Women Event: 1st Martina, 2nd Xiu Yi, 4th
Shuet, 5th Audrey and 8th Catherine. And Natalie shot very well to finish 4th in the Pistol
Women event.
On another note, 4 of our rifle shooters are currently
in Kuwait. They are trying to earn a quota place for Singapore at the YOG. Let's us cross our fingers and toes in wishing Martina, Shuet, Adele and Irwan every
success.
