SSP Junior Shootout 2016

The SSP Junior Shootout is the highlight of the Basic Shooting Course. Although participation is a key element in sports, winning is what makes us push ourselves to realise our full potential. We are very impressed with the scores of all shooters here today.

Another successful LTS Programme is over. Many thanks to staff and the senior shooters who have helped out for the past two weeks.

Aim And Fire

It is the start of another new Learn-To-Shoot Programme. The participants were very enthusiastic and could not wait to get the first shot off. They are starting from the seated position and will gradually move to the standing position. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.Tomorrow will be pistol shooting. Thanks to Nicole for taking the photos.

Time Well Spent

We revisited the Moral Home of the Aged Sick yesterday. This time, we spent time interacting with the residents for an afternoon. Clarice plucked the guitar while Marat sang. Chea Rong crooned beautifully with several Chinese oldies. Some of us played chess and checkers. Never mind if the folks kept moving the wrong pieces. We also wheeled some of them to Bedok Road Food Centre for dinner.

I would like to thank the mentors and the Sec 3 committee for organizing this outing. Your donation of goodies is also very much appreciated by the home. I am sure we went off learning to cherish our loved ones a bit more, especially the elderly.

By the way, I believe we were amused by the uncle who could tell our fortune by reading palm. His advice to me was to venture overseas to make my fortune. Haha.
